CVR News and Notes

CVR Birthdays this week:

Happy Birthday to: Brian Bushey, Hazen Copans, Darrel Lasell, Will Roben

Hi CVR Members,

We reached the end of the Fall Series and the end of the year of racing for 2020! What a difficult year, but you’ve all proven that not even a pandemic can stop one’s desire to run and compete, at some capacity, including a virtual environment. The Fall Series drew 161 participants for the 7 events and when those results are added to the previous two series, there were a total of 648 participants in the three series! The following is the breakdown. Over the course of the year, this gave us an average of 28 participants per event we offered. That’s pretty awesome!

It was brought to my attention that Jacob Miller-Arsenault of the U-32 Cross Country team won the Time Argus Runner of the Year. You can read the full article here – Miller-Arsenault a cut above. Congratulations Jacob!

Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5K

For those who didn’t already know it, due to the increase in Covid cases and new guidance, this race has been postponed until Spring.
