All suffragists and suffragents, runners, and walkers are invited to
participate in the Suffrage Scramble 5K at 9:00am on August 15, 2020

Run or walk a flat 5K in Waterbury and Duxbury to commemorate 100 years of the 19th Amendment! 

The Suffrage Scramble 5K, presented by CVR, is produced in conjunction with the Vermont Suffrage Centennial Alliance.  Led by the League of Women Voters of Vermont, the VSCA is a growing statewide alliance of volunteers, who in 2020, will commemorate and celebrate 100 years of women voting in the United States. VSCA is committed to informing Vermonters of the history and outcomes of women’s suffrage and engaging them in the ongoing quest for equal rights and citizenship.

Directions: From I-89, take exit 10. Follow signs to Route 2. Take a left onto Route 2 east. Go through downtown Waterbury. Park in lots behind the state complex. Please access via Park Row or State Dr. Do not enter on Horseshoe Rd. Use this address for your gps: 280 State Dr., Waterbury, VT 05676

Beneficiary: A portion of race proceeds will be donated to VSCA to produce the Parade and Suffrage Fest in Montpelier August 22, 2020!

NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! Bib and T-shirt pickup on race day from 7:00 to 8:45 on the Horseshoe of the Waterbury State Office Complex.

Fee: $20 Includes “Votes for Women” T-shirt, if registered by 8/5/2020.

Starting time: 9:00am

Prizes: to 1st-3rd M & F in each 10 year age division. Additional awards for best Period Dress and Voting Rights Protest Signs

Aid stations: 1 water stop between 1 and 2 miles.
