Race Results

It was a little cold at the start but the sun did its best to warm things up for our eighth running. All in all a very nice day. Waitsfield teams had a big day, taking the top 2 men's positions (Adam Tyksinski and Colby, Bill Reynolds and Buckshot) and the top woman's spot (Betsy LaFlame and Remy). Median dog weight is always near 50 lbs, but this year it was 65 lbs. So we upped the small dog limit to 60 lbs. On a sad note, Gus, who had run all seven previous Mutt Strutts with owner Tim Noonan, winning the race 3 times, passed on this year, as did race director Donna Smyers' dog Toto. This year's race was dedicated to Gus and Toto.
