Spring weather is here as well as early morning running in almost daylight, with beautiful sunrises. I have to share this one with you from a Facebook post from April Farnham. Of course you need to start at 5 am and view this near the end of your run. With that, let’s get into the news.
Winter Group Runs
Last Saturday only Bob Murphy did the group run…..by himself! Where is everybody? This Saturday the group will will be at the popular Red Hen in Middlesex. Will everyone be coming back? Hope to see you there!
CVR Annual Meeting
So far only 12 members have indicated they will join the annual meeting. Not nearly enough to meet a quorum! If you are planning to join and haven’t already answered the 2 question survey, please take a minute and do it now. Thank you.
Annual Meeting Survey
The meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 27th at 4:00 PM. We will try to keep the meeting to an hour but have important business to discuss and new officers to elect. It is a hybrid meeting, you can join virtually or in person. Ann Bushey has offered to host those that want to meet live and can accommodate 12-14 members.
Membership Renewal

CVR Annual Dinner – Thursday, March 24
With Covid cases dropping substantially, I am hoping there is a renewed interest in the annual dinner. So far replies to John have been slow. Remember that those who had previously sent John Martin a note that you would be attending the dinner for the January date, you will need to RSPV him again. We need to make sure how many can attend. Race Directors Meeting
Jackie Jancaitis has set up a Race Directors meeting for Sunday, March 13th at 4 pm. The meeting is open to all members. If you would like to join the meeting please reach out to Jackie and she will provide you with the link.

Sunday, March 27th. Remember this is a CVR Series Race!
Paul Mailman 10 Mile and 5K
Open for registration! The race will be at 8:45am on Saturday, April 16. It will start and finish on the Montpelier High School track this year. Registration is open now on Run Sign Up for $15. Race day registration will be $20. Volunteers are needed! Volunteers can sign up through the Members section on the website. See below. Register here.
Mutt Strutt
The Mutt Strut is coming back to Little River State Park this year. Train your dog, train yourself and be ready for funnest event of the year, April 24th!
Adamant Half Marathon
Adamant Half Marathon Sunday, May 8th is open for registration! Register here.
Volunteer Signup
To make this year’s events successful, we need volunteers! Race Directors are always in need of volunteers so if you are available on the day of an event and will not be running, please consider to volunteer. Runderacheivers in Northfield (note a day change)
Runderachievers is a social run group that meets in front of Good Measure Brewing Co every Thursday at 5:30. (17 East St, Northfield, VT 05663)
All ages, and abilities are welcome. After a short run(or walk) we enjoy special pricing of their draft craft beers.

Spruce Mountain Hike/Run
