Fastest 10K in Vermont!
Race will be held pending VT State Covid-19 health guidelines as of June 12, 2021. These guidelines are likely to include:
- Face coverings must be worn when unable to maintain social distance, at number pick up, and pre and post race.
- Gathering after the race will be limited.
- The race will start in waves of limited numbers of participants at a time. Participants must not gather at the start before their wave and must start at the assigned time.
Location: Onion River Outdoors, 20 Langdon St., Montpelier, VT
Registration: Pre-registration required! Register online by June 9, 2021 at 11:59pm.
This year’s race is part of the Vermont Senior Games series. Please be sure to check the “Vermont Senior Games” box when registering if you wish to participate in the series.
Field size may be limited pending guidelines.
Due to COVID-19 required planning, NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
We will send entrants an email 1-2 days before the race with bib number, wave number, and starting time.
Number pickup: Early bib number pickup at Onion River Outdoors, 20 Langdon St., Montpelier on Friday, 6/11/21, from 4:00-5:30pm.
Race day number pickup at Onion River Outdoors 7:45-8:45am. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO PICK UP YOUR BIB EARLY, IF POSSIBLE
Starting time: Wave starts for social distancing begin at 9:00am SHARP. Your exact starting time with your number will be assigned by email 1-2 days prior to the event. Please do not gather at the starting line prior to your start time. Numbers of participants per wave and wave spacing are pending guidelines as of June 12, 2021.
Prizes, etc.: Prizes to top 3 male and female finishers and to top age group finishers. There will be no awards ceremony. Awards will be mailed to you after the race.
Course: Flat and fast, out and back course, half pavement, half dirt. Water stops at approximately 2 and 4 miles. USATF certified.
Portalets will be available. Please no headphones or jogging strollers.
